Our Programs...
School Ministries of Spartanburg County currently offers programs for Elementary and Middle schools. With parent consent, students leave campus during an exploratory/activity class to receive a period of Bible Education. The class duration is 9-12 weeks each semester and typically begins the week after
Labor Day. SMSC transports the students to a nearby church for the class and students are returned to school in time for their next class. Our classes are generally taught by a youth minister or pastor, and some are even taught by retired school teachers.
One of the main released time curriculums we use is "God’s Rescue Mission" available through School Ministries, Inc. It introduces students unfamiliar with
God’s Word to the foundational truths of the Bible. For students who have already come to know Jesus, it assists in the discipleship of the student. The lessons are creative, engaging, fun, and scripturally sound.
